Lily passed a very awake Harry into James’ arms. The baby wriggled and giggled, his father tickling his tiny body. Lily slumped on the sofa, evidently exhausted. Harry clutched at James’ glasses, sending them even more askew.

“He hasn’t slept properly since Padfoot came around,” muttered Lily, half grumpily, half amusedly.
“Well, Pads wanted to stay up with him. He only gets to see him about once every six months,” said James, as Harry crawled onto Lily’s lap.
Lily smiled at the beaming boy who was chuckling with his parents. “Do you think he has any idea there’s a war going on?”
“Who? Sirius? I think he has some idea, Lils, I mean-”
“Not Sirius,” said Lily gently, trying to tame Harry’s hair, “Harry.”

James smiled. “Nah, look at him,” he said, as Harry attempted to swing from Lily’s long locks of red hair. “I think it’s our finest achievement, raising a happy baby in all this crap,” he said fondly.

Lily nodded, smiling in agreement. “Do you want some coffee?”
“I’d love some,” said James, grinning.
Lily smiled. “Okay. But it’ll cost you one kiss.”
James grinned and clasped his wife’s face with his hands, pressing his lips against hers. Lily pulled away playfully, grabbed her wand and sped to the kitchen.
“Hey, little guy,” whispered James, picking Harry up hugging him close. The baby gurgled and laughed, and James began throwing him in the air, causing him to erupt into even more giggles.
He then pulled out his wand from his pocket, and began making small clouds of coloured smoke puff out from the wand; Harry giggled at his favourite trick, clasping at the clouds with his chubby little fists.
Lily arrived in the living room shortly after, two steaming mugs of coffee clutched in her hands.

“Baby down, Potter,” she said, holding the coffee out of James’ reach. “Babies and hot liquids don’t mix.”
“Whatever you say, Potter,” replied James with a smirk. He chucked his wand on the coffee table and, once Lily had set the coffee down, threw Harry into her arms.
“God, he’s grown so much,” she said.
“I know,” James agreed. “Soon he’ll be off to Hogwarts, riding the Hogwarts Expr-”
“Don’t!” said Lily, hugging Harry close. “He’s growing up too fast! It only seems like yesterday that it was last Halloween, and you’d dressed him up in that God awful snitch costume!”
“That was a good outfit!” said James. He laughed, Lily grinned.
“It’s a shame we didn’t dress him up this year, really,” she added.
“Ah well, we’ve got next year,” replied James. He smiled, and there was a moment – right there, whilst he was gazing at his beautiful wife and wonderful son – where it seemed impossible to think there was a war going on. Impossible to think that such atrocities could even exist in a world where there was such magnificent beauty.
“I love you, Lils,” said James, almost breathlessly.

Lily smiled. “I love you too, you soppy git,” she replied.
And then the front door burst open. Lily screamed, Harry cried, and James sprinted to the hallway, the white light horrifically illuminating the corpse-like figure of Lord Voldemort.
Turning to Lily, James screamed without hesitation, “Lily, take Harry and go! It’s him! Go! Run! I’ll hold him off-”

grrrr anyway im so upset right now i decided to dedicate an entire post to my hero and idol shawn johnson.
I CANNOT BELIEVE THAT SHE FUCKING RETIRED. :((((( LIFE HAS NO MORE MEANING!!!! okay fine maybe im being selfish and she really cant help it. and yeah im happy that she's happy and stuff but SERIOUSLY?! people who know me would know how much ive been looking forward to this olympics and how obsessed im with with competitive american gymnast. gggggggrrrrrrrrrrrrrr now my life has no more meaning. ive been waiting days and days and days for this year's visa national championships and one day before the championships they told me that my favourite gymnast SHAWN JOHNSON HAS RETIRED. sobs sobs sobs sobs sobs. and btw shawn johnson is a girl okay dont insult my idol by saying that her name sounds like a guy's.

shes even the dancing with the stars champion kay!

okay fine, now that im slightly more calmed about this situation i can acknowledge the fact that most of you fellow blog readers might think that ive gone crazy bonkers hmmm and this shall be the end of my very short yet very annoying blog post.

"I feel compelled to write something today about 20 year old Shawn Johnson. The 4’ 9” golden girl from Iowa with the 5 foot smile announced yesterday due to the constant problems with her left knee, she will retire from the sport she has dominated her whole life.

Johnson has been an extraordinary ambassador for the sport of gymnastics winning 4 medals in the Beijing Olympics including a gold on the balance beam. She cruised to 3 golds in the 2007 World Championships and won 4 more in the Pan American games that year. Her competitive nature did not stop on the gym floor as she took home the crown of Dancing with the Stars, in 2009 as the youngest participant ever on the show. Later that year she was also named “America’s Most-Liked Sports Figure,” in a poll commissioned by Forbes Magazine.

The years and years of 10 hour days in the gym on the balance beams and bars honing her craft had paid off. What an inspiration! Have you ever spent 10 hours in a day doing anything? Well maybe sleeping? Shawn should inspire us all to get up, get out of bed, and focus on doing the things we love to do. It will force others around you to do the same. There’s no time like the present!

Shawn thank you for inspiring extraordinary performances with your hard work, pure talent, and class you have shown through it all. Congrats on an amazing gymnastics career we will be excited to see what you do next!"

okay so today went shopping with bernie and syahirah after amath. LOL we tried to go haji lane but couldnt find it... and then this nice shop keeper gave us this map to find our way. hahaha so nice right. ^^ and then there the stuff very nice, but doesnt really suit me. hmmm bernie bought this very cool pair of shoes and i bought a bag! the wallets and shoes there also very nice. but too ex alr not planning to spend all my $$$$ there.

okay then after that we went somerset + ion to look for clothes for be yourself day! lol very hard to find yknow. so many things so nice but then doesnt suit me. sheeeesh and then some look very funny on my body. and then some too ex. and then in the end me and syahirah bought matching stuff. haha shall not reveal here it shall be a surprise! but syahirah was totally apprehensive about buying it. but then i wear at home again look quite nice so i didnt regret. :) but then so stupid la, i spend all my $ on these stuff i no money to spend on regular clothes. unlike bernie who buy so many things still have $ to buy more things. sheeesh. oh well hopefully next time i can buy more nice clothes. hehe okay bye. pictures courtesy of syahirah but camera and effects courtesy of me~ ♥
